Website Design Approach

Every design is tailored to the client's desired image and structured to frame the content. Each site is designed for expansion and every page is designed for easy editing directly by the client.

Some designers never want their clients to touch their designs. Our approach is that every client should be able to edit directly if they wish to. Pages we know will be updated frequently are designed for especially easy maintenance.

Girls Inc, Lynn

(pictured old and new BW design)

Overall Goal:

Create an online image of vitality and make the content accessible and readable from an older, dated site. Also since it was such a big site, user-friendly design had to be an utmost consideration.

Design Goals:

Create a site that resonates with girls between 6 and 18, their parents, volunteers, staff, the community and donors, while keeping true to the "Girl's Inc" style and standards.

Approach:

Girls Inc has a wealth of wonderful images of the girls, so the pictures tell the story of a dynamic organization with much to offer.

The design and color palette are built around the national Girls Inc logo.

Page layouts were done with large sans serif font and white space to promote readability.
